Hefners (Senegal)

Lindsay and I grew up in Christian homes and through the Lord’s gracious work in our lives we both went to Bible school with the desire to be involved in missions.

We met each other there and were married in January of 2000.  The Lord has blessed us with 3 children – Elijah (12/13/01), Lenaya (12/12/03), and Caroline (11/9/09).

As a family, by God’s grace, we endeavor to give honor to our Lord with our lives.  The practical manner in which He has led us to do this is to give our lives to His service on the foreign mission field.  We strongly believe that the church is God’s tool to expand His Kingdom on earth today.  Therefore, as a family we are seeking to plant a church amongst the Jalunga people group of Senegal, Africa.  The Jalunga are a people who do not have access to a church at this time.
